Q: What sports can a synthetic turf field be built for?

Football, rugby, AFL, hockey, cricket outfields, touch and general play areas are all common. Tell us the main sport and age group and we will suggest a turf and line marking layout to suit.

Q: Why does the base matter so much?

Turf is only as level and free-draining as the ground under it. A poorly built base shows up as puddles, soft spots and seams lifting. K2 is a concreting crew, so the earthworks, sub-base and drainage are done by our own team rather than handed to a subcontractor.

Q: Can you build turf play areas as well as full fields?

Yes. Playground surrounds, school play spaces, backyard kick-about areas and small-sided pitches are all built the same way: a proper base, then the right turf on top.

Q: How much maintenance does a turf field need?

Far less than grass, but not none. Regular brushing, topping up infill in high-wear areas and clearing leaves keeps it playing well. We explain what your field needs at handover.
